Every regulation must cite the statute that authorizes it. This page traces each ingested part's cited authority into the U.S. Code and classifies each citation's language as . It also shows which statutes several parts share and lists two families of textual markers found in rule preambles — presented with equal weight, describing the published text only.
Bands report TEXTUAL-MARKER DENSITY only (listed phrase families per 1,000 words; none=0, low≤0.2, moderate≤0.6, elevated>0.6), applied identically to both marker families. They describe phrase frequency in the published document text and are not a prediction of any judicial outcome or a statement about any regulation's validity.
